The Hillsboro ISD Board of Trustees took another progressive step toward maintaining excellence in our schools by investing an additional $330,000 in the district’s teacher salary schedule for 2008-2009, the first phase of applying much-appreciated funding approved by Hillsboro voters in the November, 2007 rollback election.  

 

As a result of this gracious community support, Hillsboro ISD employees working on a teacher contract, which includes teachers, counselors, nurses and librarians, will realize an average of 6.4% increase in compensation for 2008-2009. More...
