Student Council

  • The HHS Student Council provides opportunities for students to develop leadership skills while serving the school and community. They promote respect, encourage student involvement, and promote a sense of school pride.

All students on campus are eligible to participate. Council members must act responsibly on school campus at all times, attend monthly meetings, and participate in activities and events. They also must maintain grades above a 70 average. A 2.0 GPA is required though higher is encouraged.

To become a member, students must complete a membership application which includes a teacher evaluation form, 350-word essay, permission slip, and a $10 member fee.

The HHS Student Council hosts a variety of activities and projects including:

    • Blood Drives
    • Red Ribbon Week
    • Buckle Up
    • Click It or Ticket
    • Valentine's Fundraiser
    • Teacher Appreciation
    • Food Drive
