  • The Maker Space Program- Hillsboro Elementary

    • Allows students to work both collaboratively in groups and independently using robotics, Storytelling Legos, and K'Nex educational tools

    Lex Lab- Hillsboro Intermediate

    • Equipped with robotics kits, a 3D printer, 3D scanner and other tools, the lab allows students to combine access to new-design technology with classic problem solving and model building

    Innovative Learning Spaces- District-wide

    • Redesigned classrooms to support the way students learn and to encourage good behavior and focus

    Gardens- Franklin Elementary, Hillsboro Intermediate, Hillsboro Junior High, Hillsboro High School

    • Students learn the science behind growing plants, work on incorporating produce into recipes, and hone their transactional math skills at the annual plant sale
