Welcome to Hillsboro ISD!
Whether you are a new or returning student to Hillsboro ISD, we are excited to have you back. Please review the following registration options below for the 2026-2027 school year.
Pre-K Round-Up (Registration)
Will your child turn 4 years old by September 1st, 2026? If so, it's time to enroll them in our FREE pre-kindergarten program. Registration for the 2026-2027 school year will take place on Tuesday, June 9th, and Wednesday, June 10th, from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Franklin School, 103 Country Club Road. Please review the list of "Documents Needed for Registration" below.
New Student Registration
New students to Hillsboro ISD for the 2026-2027 school year are invited to New Student Registration on Wednesday, July 23rd, and Thursday, July 23rd, from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Franklin School, 103 Country Club Road. Families who are unable to attend Pre-K Round-Up can also register their Pre-K student at New Student Registration. Please review the list of "Documents Needed for Registration" below.
Returning Students - Online Registration
Students returning to Hillsboro ISD for the 2026-2027 school year will register online between Monday, July 6th, 2026, and Sunday, August 2nd, 2026.
Parents/Guardians, please log in to your Skyward account to complete registration. If you do not have internet or need help with online registration, please visit the Admissions and Records Department located at 119 E. Franklin Street during summer business hours of Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Documents Needed for Registration
Parents/Guardians are required to bring the following items to registration:
- birth certificate,
- social security card,
- shot record,
- proof of residency (needs to be a utility bill),
- and a parent's driver's license.
