The Hillsboro ISD Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that partners with the community to provide resources that enrich teaching and inspire learning. Each year, the foundation provides staff grants for innovative educational learning tools and resources. They also run 2 programs: 

• Necessity Bins at all campuses that provide basic hygiene items to help break down barriers to learning. 
• Book Vending Machine at the elementary campus (hopefully more to come). This program allows students to earn "Golden Tokens" for academic achievement and positive behavior, which they can use to select and keep new books to build their home libraries.
