Congratulations to this year's District Elementary and Secondary Teacher of the Year. Both are now nominees for the ESC Region 12 Teacher of the Year award.

  • Elementary Teacher of the Year: Ashleigh Nesmith from Hillsboro Elementary School

  • Secondary Teacher of the Year: John Rodriguez from Hillsboro Junior High School

We are proud to recognize Mrs. Nesmith, a 1st-grade teacher, and Mr. Rodriguez, a Social Studies teacher and coach. Their heart for education, commitment to student success, and positive impact on their campuses make them truly deserving of this honor.
