Dear Hillsboro ISD Families and Staff, 

I am pleased to announce the new Hillsboro Junior High School principal is Kimberly Garza. 

She brings more than 10 years of experience in education as both a classroom teacher and instructional leader. Garza recently completed the Principal as Instructional Leader certification with Region 12, further developing her skills in campus leadership, data-driven decision-making, and instructional coaching.

"I am so excited to join Hillsboro ISD. I feel that becoming an Eagle is more than joining a school-it's becoming part of a community," said Kimberly Garza, Hillsboro Junior High School Principal. "I am honored to serve Hillsboro Junior High and excited to work alongside our staff, students, and families, as we learn, lead, grow, and soar together."

In addition to her professional experience, Garza has a strong educational background. She earned a Bachelor of Social Science in Elementary Education from Ashford University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Northern Colorado. 

Thank you to the interview committee for helping select Hillsboro Junior High School's new principal. With their help, we have an excellent new campus leader.
